Tips for Manifesting your 2012 – #6 – Celebrating changing the outdoor surroundings that expresses you

Do you still have your Christmas tree?  If so, today is the day to find a way to recycle your tree.  One of the best ways is to drop it off to a local organization for donation.  It is a pay forward gesture of supporting a local group and it is also one that turns the tree into chips putting it back into the cycle of nature.   Today could also be the day to take down the lights and ornaments from outdoors to clear the space for the new emerging season.

Leaving the decorations and lights up are reminders that draw our unconscious attention back to an event that has past and leaves us open to our own nagging thoughts constantly reminding us of this task.  When taking down decorations, lights and recycling the tree, take time to consider how this is opening the space to something new and what would you like this to look like?  What do you have by your front door that adds a splash of color (or as you enter your driveway) that draws your attention to it?  Something significant to you that makes your heart sing.  It could be as simple as a potted plant with colour.

This significance of these actions is the recognition of change of your personal staging from one season to a new one and taking proactive steps to support and integrate your visual expression that reflects the changes you seek through your goals and resolutions.
