Tips for Manifesting your new ‘year’ – #23 – Making your Own Happy Opportunities!

Posted on January 23, 2012 by

This first month of change is not everyone’s favorite and if you are making this change in January you are working at a time that may already not be the happiest of times.  For some it is a grey period of let down and waiting.    It’s confusing with people staggering back from their extended holidays and travels.  It’s a time when all colored decorations came down to be stored away for another year.  The clean up begins outside and inside from all the extra food eaten and the new diets to begin the year with.

In tip number 22 a comparison was made with two types of celebrations:  Western and Chinese New Year celebrations.  Continuing to tap into the Chinese New Year theme of being alive with interesting symbolism it’s now time to add some color and excitement to your experience.  During the next fifteen days include a celebration of you.  Each day include a celebration that focuses upon something about you that you wish to acknowledge.  Plan to take the positive outcomes from the hard work of the past 23 days and begin to focus upon the positive changes you are enjoying about yourself.  Number one is that you have made it this far!  The celebration could be as simple as phoning a friend and telling them.  “Guess what?  I have done……..” It could be writing it done and seeing it in print!  It may be a good time to start a, “Celebrating Me Journal.”
